Charles Wollman

Charles joined Amini LLC in 2021 and has since become an integral part of Amini’s trial team. He has tried commercial cases before some of the most renowned judges in New York and Delaware and has secured multi-million-dollar victories for his clients. 

In a recent landmark victory, Charles successfully represented shareholders from multiple lending and real estate investment companies against a manager accused of misappropriating corporate assets and diverting millions in company funds for personal gain. Following a rigorous 7-day bench trial in the Commercial Division of New York County, the court delivered a decisive 60-page post-trial decision in favor of our client.

During law school, Charles honed his skills through his internship with Justice Joel M. Cohen of the New York County Supreme Court, Commercial Division. He also represented indigent investors in Fordham’s Securities Litigation and Arbitration Clinic. An active contributor to his law school community, Charles was a member of Fordham’s International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team and President of Fordham’s Jewish Law Students Association.

Significant Litigation Victories & Notable Cases:

• Obtained $11 million post-trial judgment in action against manager of multiple lending and real estate investment companies for unjust use of corporate assets for personal gain and misappropriation of millions of dollars in company funds.
• Obtained favorable settlement for client, a New York City commercial property developer, against billionaire investor for breach of partnership agreement and misappropriation of partnership assets.
• Represented primary beneficiary of multi-million-dollar estate in New Jersey probate, appellate and federal courts against co-executor for withholding estate assets and against former law firm for malpractice.
• Obtained $40 million award on behalf of creditor against debtor.
• Represented products distributor in a 7-day jury trial against a manufacturer for theft of distributor’s confidential client information and for improper competition.
• Represented multiple former managers of a national consulting firm against allegations of intellectual property theft and improper competition.
• Represented consulting firm in business defamation action by a national consulting firm in a two-day evidentiary hearing before the Chancellor of Delaware’s Court of Chancery. 
• Obtained favorable settlement against a healthcare futures exchange company on behalf of members.
